Established in Southern California in 2024, Disaster Ready Go-Bag operates with a vital objective: equipping households with the necessary tools for swift departures before disaster strikes.
Following the catastrophic Eaton Fire in Altadena, CA, our commitment to this cause deepened significantly. As the flames spread rapidly, numerous neighbors were forced to flee their residences without time to gather vital medical records, prescriptions, or basic survival gear.
Tragically, the speed of the disaster prevented several residents from escaping safely. The fire resulted in at least 19 deaths.
This devastating event highlighted the absolute necessity of maintaining readiness for immediate evacuation during life-threatening crises. It serves as a somber reminder that in an emergency, every second is filled with consequence.
